What is ScribeTower?

We recognize that clear communication is essential in both professional and academic worlds. Training in various disciplines and working in different fields led us to appreciate how complex and puzzling clear communication and writing really are. After years of meeting with many people and helping them find what they want to say in articles, essays, novels, and other publications, we’ve grown to offer our services online to all.

Right now, ScribeTower offers editing and translation services, but we look forward to offering much more, such as ghostwriting, educational videos, and even one-on-one online lessons for anyone wanting to conquer grammar rules and the writing process. We know you want your writing to be understood, so we’ll focus on your unique needs to help you find the right words.

Our Team

Michel martín del campo

I’m Michel Martín del Campo, and I’m an English teacher and freelance writer. My early childhood exposure to science fiction and horror led to an academic career at DePauw University where I majored in English Writing and got to work with the Science Fiction Studies Department, an experience which fostered a lifelong passion for writing and reading in all their forms.

After graduating, I worked as a writing consultant at a university in South Texas while also teaching courses, such as Composition, Journalism, and ESL (English as a Second Language). A few years later, I moved to Washington, DC, to work as a Congressional Speechwriter before returning to Laredo to continue teaching. By 2017, I’d earned my master’s degree in English and have since been working as a writing instructor at various colleges and universities.

Aside from teaching writing, I’ve also worked as a screenwriter for a South Texas documentarian, as a freelance ghostwriter, and I’ve also done some work in tabletop RPG design. In my spare time, I watch cartoons with my daughter and run a YouTube reaction channel

Mary muñoz

My name is Mary Muñoz, and I’m devoted to language. My fascination with languages and speech took hold during early childhood when I’d sit in silence well bewitched by the cadence of code-switching. It was no surprise that I soon gravitated toward reading and writing, and I always felt at home in the nooks of multiple public libraries in Houston, Texas.

I left home to study and earned two bachelor’s degrees in English and Spanish while working as a writing consultant at a university writing center. A few years later, I became the writing center’s program coordinator and writing trainer. During this transition at the university, I was also an instructor, and I completed my first master’s degree in Language, Literature, and Translation. Today, I’m back home in Houston and working on my second master’s in speech language pathology. My interests include dysphagia, voice disorders, motor speech disorders, and cognitive-communication disorders. After graduation in 2023, I hope to work in acute care while continuing to edit, translate, and educate.

In my spare time, I’m a cat.
